| Multi Game League If you have joined the DDzz and you are not 16 years or older you will be removed from the ladder. http://www.ddzzlg.com/ DDzz Rules
Failure to Read these Rules is not an excuse for not following The Dysfunctional Dragons Policies. Remember Admins and TD's are volunteers on this league. They give of their time to create an atmosphere that you may come to and enjoy. Understand they are human and not perfect. Each and every one of them own the tourney they run, any complaints regarding a tourney you take to the TD that hosted the tourney. If needed they will call upon an Admin to assist. The following are necessary to ensure the integrity of the ladder. If you have any issues with these rules, you have two choices; either leave the ladder or don't play in tournaments. There will be zero discussion on these rules and anyone found to be breaking any of these rules will have one choice and that is to leave the league. There will be no exceptions, period. All rules are final and not open for discussion. Rules are subject to change at the discretion of the Administration of the The DDzz. There are Black and White rules that are listed below and at times the administration must make decisions that are not clear cut black or white, the administrations call is the only call! We are not the personality police. You will meet a lot of people in this league, some will become good friends, some will become acquaintances, and others you might just not like. You have two choices on how to deal with personalities that you do not care for -keep your mouth shut play the game and be done or if they jump in a tourney you don't. Period!!! Good Sportsmanship - is defined in many different ways, at the DDzz we define it as: We hope that all DDzz say hi, good luck and good game but we can not force it upon anyone so if you enter a game and your opponent says nothing do not take it personal some people are intense players and not talkers. Rude comments are unacceptable but at the same time talking is not mandated, it is up to each player. If you enter a game and say good luck and do not get a response just play the game.To each his own do not force your personality on another's and do not take it as an insult. The Head Admins for the DDzz is Adairr.. Admins and TDs are listed on the website. Click on Directors on the top menu under tournaments to view the information. Tournament Scheduled Time is posted on the calendar the host makes every attempt to start tournament with in ten minutes of posted time. However, due to new players joining, full rooms and many other circumstances the tourney might be delayed. We play in several different rooms, please be sure to check the rules page for locations. If the Room is full and you can not get in the room, go to the main site and click on one of the BACKDOOR links on the right. If Backdoors are not available the entire Pogo system is most likely on the blink. You may choose to Instant Message someone in the League in order to notify them you can not get in. However, you only have a total of ten minutes on the timer for an absence at your table once you are in a tournament. You have a combined total of fifteen minutes for multiple re-entries no matter what the problem may be. To those of you who are new to the Case's Ladder program, there are numerous links to information about DDzzs and Case's on the League website. Please go to the website and explore all the information and links in order to become familiar with our League. If you need help, just ask, we would love to assist you. Understand The DDzz is operated by the administration, cases supports us for running tournaments. You might not like the rules, you might not like the administration and complaints can be emailed to ddzzadmin@hotmail.com.
First and foremost we are here to have fun, relieve stress, and make new friends. While there is competition in the ladder and in tournaments, good sportsmanship and courteous behavior are mandatory. Creating a stressful environment is not acceptable in the League. Keep the arguments out of the lobby and out the game. Keep the derogatory comments to yourself. If you are upset with POGO send a message to them. Do not take it out on your fellow players. Any information of a personal nature that should not be shared does not need to be discussed in the lobby or at the table. Please realize we have different personalities within this League and you will form your own group of friends. Do not chastise another member because you do not understand them or care for them. This includes those players who are not talkative. No one is required to speak. Discussion of problems or complaints with other DDzz in lobby or at table is a violation of DDzz Policy. If you have had issues or problems with other members, please bring them forward to admin. Admin will not respond to any 3 rd party communications. It is well known that conversations get translated and inferred upon by people differently, therefore, we will only deal with the parties involved. We do understand you will make friends and vent, complain or just bitch that is human nature. We as admin are not going to explain our actions to anyone other then the person(s) involved with the incident. Any League member that has an issue with another member is strongly encouraged to work it out between yourselves first. If for some reason this can not be done then please contact Admin for assistance. Do not be surprised when we ask the two of you to join us in a room and work it out together, with Admin being the mediator. Have fun let's not make this work and remember each of us have our own stories. Lobby Chat The lobby is a place where the DDzz socialize. During tournaments the host might run trivia, mystery games and all other sorts of interactive games. The lobby is not the place to air dirty laundry, become abusive, rude or offensive in any manner. Any violation to lobby chat ethics will result in suspension or termination from of The League. Roomies We do not own the room we play in, others will join in lobby chat. There can be times when non-DDzz will be rude. You are to ignore any comments directed to members of the DDzz. If you can not, mute the player so that you do not see any comments. The TD in room will handle any problems that might occur. Ranking System All Players on The DDzz MUST participate in both Tourneys as well as Ladder Matches. When you first join a League you start with zero points and can move up the ranks by winning Tournaments or Ladder Matches in the League. You must play 20 games in the League before you will be ranked. You can then go to main page, click on DDzz Standings and see where you fall in the ranking of League. You have several choices on the top of the page as to how you would like to view the rankings. Remember the way you climb up the ladder is by playing in tourneys or ladder matches. You must play at least every 21 days to stay active in the League. You must ladder at least once every 7 days or you will lose rungs within the ladder. Understand everyone wants to sit on top of the Ladder. However, the number one DDzz does not have to play continuously. In the same respect if you are asked for a ladder, you should honor the request. If you are not available at that time to play, schedule a mutual time when you can play. ANY MANIPULATION OF THE LADDER WILL PLACE YOU IN THE PENALTY BOX OR TERMINATED FROM THE LEAGUE. Getting a Ladder Match The best way to get a match is to announce in the Room Lobby for a DDzz LADDER. You may play the same person ONLY 3 times in ladder match each day for credit... Tournaments do not count toward this total. More than 3 times in a day, played between the same two opponents, will not count toward your statistics or DDzz accounts. Make certain you agree on the options before you play, and you should always check the table before playing. If you wish to play a specific person, please ask them to ladder in the Lobby. If they are not available, then ask when they will be available to play you. This will assist in the scheduling of a specific ladder. Reporting a Ladder Match Report match outcomes immediately. The loser of the match must make the report. Go to the main page of the League website www.ddzzlg.com and click on REPORT LOSS. Type in your name and password and the winners name and enter. All ladder matches are to be played in OUR ROOMS ONLY. Any match played that is over 24 hours old and not reported by the losing player will be handled in the following way: Go to the League Website, click on DDzz Friends. Put in the losing player's name and click on Go Find Them. A page appears with the persons name and info. Click on their name and an email to them will come up automatically. Email them letting them know that the match has not been reported. Give them another 24 hours to comply with the email. If a match is still not reported send an email to ddzzadmin@hotmail.com with match information. Include the date played, and approximate time played. The following will apply for any DDzz that does not report a match:
Fraudulent Report of Ladder Matches At no time may a false win or loss be posted in a tournament or individual match. Reporting any sort of fraud will result in immediate expulsion from the ladder. All logs of all matches are checked on a daily basis by a staff admin. Reporting & Passwords It is illegal to share your password with any other user for the purpose of reporting or any reason. This includes those living in the same household. If you are discovered using another user's password both of your accounts will be removed. Account Rules You must use your POGO Screen name as your League name. You must have a valid E-mail address on record. Most contact will be by email. If we are unable to contact you via E-mail you may be suspended from the current cycle. A player will have no more than one account with the DDzz on Case's. Creating multiple accounts with DDzz on Case's will not be tolerated and may result in being banned. We determine IP Addresses at registration and it is logged. Players cannot share accounts! Only one player per account is allowed. DO NOT share your password with anyone. If found that more than one person has access to your account the account will be permanently suspended. Your account will be deleted if you do not have any activity with the DDzz on Case's for 30 days in a row. The system will automatically drop you off and there is NO reset of the previous account. You will have to register again if you wish to play with the DDzz on Case's. Playing Your Tournament Matches You may only play in one tournament at a time. You may not play in any other games during a tournament. If you begin a ladder match before a tournament you need to make certain you will be finished in time to start the tournament. It is recommended you play non rated as you will not be point penalized if you need to quit to play in your tourney seat. You may not harass, abuse, or attempt to change the outcome of any match by forced forfeit or try to cancel a game because of the fact that you are losing. We ask all players to report this activity to DDzz Admin. If we receive multiple complaints against a user we will investigate and resolve the situation. All tournament games with the exception of 100 score dominoes, 4 player canasta, spades, pinochle and any funk tourneys are rated. If you set a table it is your responsibility to make sure the table is set correctly according to the rules of the tournament you are playing in. It is the opponents responsibility to check the table before sitting. Both players run the risk of being disqualified if you sit at table that is incorrectly set. Ladder matches may be set with the options you like. If you join a ladder game make certain you check the table and agree to the options. Any DDzz that sets a table in a ladder and states there is a Ladder on Table X, does not have to ask for agreement of options. Make sure you want to play them on their turf. Once you join, there is no going back or complaining. All ladders may be played rated or nonrated as agreed by the two players. We encourage playing rated games. If you are helping someone learn the game, or giving pointers, these games should not be counted as a ladder and should not be rated. We rely on the good sportsmanship of all the players to do the right thing and report their matches. In addition we expect all players to finish their games to the end. Conceding is NOT allowed. Do not report a win or loss until the game is completely finished. There are no forfeits due to the score of game. There are no substitutes allowed during tournament games. Except when playing 4 player canasta , pinochle or spades. If you have and emergency and must leave please announce in lobby. If there is a dispute to a game due to Pogo crashing or any other failure of the COMPLETE system, (this does' not include individual problems), all Tournament Matches and Ladder Matches during that time will be considered null and void. Slow Game Play When a match takes longer than 30 minutes in a tournament the entire tournament is delayed. This makes for unhappy TDs and players. It also affects the next tourney scheduled. PLEASE!! Keep your game moving!! Intentional Game Delay Inconsistent time delays will be considered Intentional Slow Game Play. Whether it is using the entire 60 seconds on every single turn. If we get consistent complaints regarding one player we will investigate the allegations. Please inform host prior to any tourney that you might play in if you are still using dial up. Tourney Rage Causing problems within the game to harass the other player. Reporting a Tournament Match Report Report Tournament Match outcomes immediately. Matches are to be reported by the loser in the lobby immediately, in the following fashion: winner///loser. You should never harass another player, either in chat, in the lobbies or in a game in an attempt to get them to report. You can not leave a game that is not completed, or concede. You can not report the match until the game is over. Spamming Tournament Spamming is considered any sort of advertising of a tournament, no matter the length. Non- TDs are not permitted to spam for DDzz tournaments, in any room at any time. In addition, discussions of tournaments are only allowed in the room the tournament is being held. Spamming mediums include Lobby Chat, E-mail, POGO messaging, and Instant Messaging. Multiple Users You must report all family members, other members of your household, and anyone playing with DDzz at your home. You must report if you share an Internet connection or computer with others, such as at work. You MUST notify us via the Multiple Users in Same Household registration form. If you do not do so, all accounts will be subject to suspension from DDzz. This applies even if it is temporary. If someone visits you, simply add them for the time they are there. You can remove them just as easily. If you have multiple users, your accounts will be put on a special watch. List for irregularities in your Tournament play. You are not allowed to partner with any member of your household (no matter where each of you are at the moment) or someone that shares an Internet connection with you. Our security system cross-checks and alerts management when violations occur. It is not allowable for more than one person to use or share the same account. You are welcome to each participate in the League but you will have to create separate accounts. Cheating It goes without saying that we will not tolerate cheating of any kind. This site was created to make it possible for all people to enjoy the thrill of gaming in a League environment that is honest and fun. Cheating of any kind is forbidden. This includes, but is not limited to, rule violations, using modifiable executables, reporting false results, harassing an opponent to cancel a game repeatedly, or intentional delay of game. Anything that distorts true results or effects rankings is cheating and will not be allowed. Ladder Manipulation will not be tolerated. This offense is cause for permanent suspension from DDzz. Please do not accuse anyone of cheating in the lobby. If you believe there is an issue to be addressed, please im admin or td for investigation. We do not take cheating likely and if an accusation is made - it is taken seriously. It is best that the word "cheating" not be used in a joking fashion. Auto Play Programs There will be no auto play or enhancement programs allowed during a tournament or ladder. Auto play is a direct violation of Pogo rules and any player found to be using auto play will be reported to Pogo as well as booted from the ladder. There are no exceptions to this rule. Cheat Programs There will be no cheat programs allowed during a tournament or ladder. Cheat programs are a direct violation of Pogo rules and any player found to be using cheat programs will be reported to Pogo as well as booted from the ladder. There are no exceptions to this rule. Abuse If you encounter another user behaving in an unacceptable manner in the lobby, please report the abuse to ddzzadmin@hotmail.com and include a brief description of the situation. It is preferred that you also send a screen shot in JPG/GIF format to further give evidence. Any harassment towards a DDzz TD or Admin is grounds for an immediate and automatic suspension. We protect our TDs and Admin at all costs and will not tolerate unacceptable behavior from the players. On the same token, we will not tolerate unacceptable behavior from our TDs. Any such behavior should be reported to ddzzadmin@hotmail.com. Addresses can also be found on the League page. Please include screen shots as proof of incident. We encourage you to try to solve problems on your own before bringing it to our staff. If you are not able to resolve a situation please bring it to a staff member's attention or e-mail our support staff. Again, do not be surprised when we ask the two of you to join us in a room and work it out together, with Admin being the mediator. TOP TEN Because everyone wants a chance at the TOP we have some special rules that apply for these users. This keeps the competition for these slots in high demand. Only players who are ranked in the Top Ten need to worry about these. Rank Hounding Players in the Top Ten are expected to be as active after they reach the top ranks as they were before. In other words, if you are playing 20 games a day to make it to the Top Ten and then only play once a week to hold your rank you may be penalized. Everyone wants to share these spots. Leapfrogging Players in the Top Ten should try to play the person ranked directly below them at least once every three days. If you are found to be avoiding ladder matches it could put your rank at risk. Fair Play We all know that all Top Ten players who ask for ladder should be treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. You should do your best to see that request for ladders of this nature are played as soon as possible for the benefit of both players. Avoiding or delaying ladder matches from other Top Ten members will result in penalty. Top Ten should also play in order of request and required to play all members of the league no matter what their rank is EVERYONE WANTS A CHANCE! Because everyone has got their eyes on number 1 we expect the members of the TOP TEN group of players to conduct themselves in an appropriate mannerism. This means we will be keeping a closer eye on them than other players. If you are among the Top Ten players, Set a good example! Penalty Discussion of another player's penalty or comments regarding the penalty of another player is not open for discussion at any time. Discussion of penalties in the lobby, table or with other DDzz is a violation of the DDzz Policies. If you have had a penalty or a friend of someone that has been penalized any discussion via ims, emails or other forms of communication brought to the attention of the administration will result in further penalties. Penalties are applied by the Administration of The League and are at their discretion whether they follow the progressive process of warnings or suspend your account immediately. Penalties are not open to discussion to any other league members other than the individuals involved in the incident. Any violation of the policies listed above can result in suspension or termination of The League. 3 Day Suspension from DDzz:
